Announcing the Global Spirit Salon on October 16th, 1 to 4 p.m. at East West Bookstore. "THE LONG CONVERSATION - An Afternoon with Phil Cousineau Exploring the Global Spirit."
During medieval times whenever people spoke about timeless issues — birth, death, love, hate, the search for meaning — it was considered to be a participation in "the long conversation," the discussion of things that have always mattered. In this presentation freelance writer, filmmaker, and teacher Phil Cousineau will screen four short excerpts from "Global Spirit," the 10-part series he is hosting on LINK TV, and in the "spirit" of the series, to catalyze discussion with the group. Fee is $15—register at www.eastwestbookshop.com/events/.
