Theme: Dreams

The dream is a little hidden door in the innermost and most secret recesses of the soul, opening into that cosmic night which was psyche long before there was any ego-consciousness, and which will remain psyche no matter how far our ego-consciousness extends. ...All consciousness separates; but in dreams we put on the likeness of that more universal, truer, more eternal man dwelling in the darkness of primordial night. There he is still the whole, and the whole is in him, indistinguishable from nature and bare of all egohood. It is from these all-uniting depths that the dream arises, be it never so childish, grotesque, and immoral.

Dr. Michael Conforti presents an innovative, interdisciplinary approach to human dynamics that brings together and is supported by discoveries in the new sciences and in psychology. Archetypal field theory builds on Dr. Jung's ideas about the nature of the archetype and on recent work in the new sciences, including work by David Bohm, Ervin Laszlo, David Peat, and Rupert Sheldrake. Dr. Conforti demonstrates that our basic life patterns, including personal relationships, financial decisions, work situations, and also therapeutic and consulting relationships, are influenced by archetypal fields. By recognizing the underlying structure of these patterns, we can often infer the nature of the specific constellated archetype.
