Carol Stanley, Ph.D.
"Ethics: From Shaman to Eunuch to Now: Evolution of Ethical Transitions"
Carol will provide an historical perspective of ethical practice as well as provide current clinical examples and discussion questions/comments.
Carol L. Stanley currently serves as the Dean of the School of Applied Psychology, Counseling, and Family Therapy at Antioch University Seattle. In her private practice, Carol provides therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. Carol is a clinical member and approved supervisor for AAMFT. Carol earned her BA from Whittier College, her MA/MBS from LIOS, and her Ph.D. from Seattle Pacific University. Carol has served as the Chair of Ethics, Training & Standards Committee of the Washington Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. In her clinical practice, Carol is the Clinical Director of Valley Counseling Training Center which provides training and supervision for student interns as well as post graduate training and supervision for externs.

Lee Roloff, Jungian Analyst
"Empathy and Compassion: Listening and Responding: Carl Jung, Carl Rogers"
Lee Roloff, Ph.D., Jungian Analyst, presently a member of the Northwest Pacific Institute for Analytical Psychology, a training analyst for twenty-five years with the Chicago Society of Jungian Analysts, and an honorary member of the Cape of Good Hope Centre for Jungian Studies (South Africa) is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Performance Studies at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, where he taught Archetypal and Psychological Approaches to Literature in the Therapeutic Setting. He retired from academia after forty years of teaching in 1991. A published poet, he is the author of the award winning book, Perception and Evocation of Literature, as well as articles in literature, the psychology of performance, psychological growth and development, fairy tales, and the culture of apartheid. He has lectured and taught extensively here and abroad.

"Jungian Approaches to Couple’s and Relationship Counseling: A Panel and Community Exploration"
In this workshop, panel members will present initial concepts, applicable myths, and clinical examples to initiate our conversation and exploration. We invite participants to share their wisdom and experience about applications of Jungian and related approaches to couples and relationship therapy; we invite participants to bring relevant case examples. We will meet in both small and large group formats for these discussions. |
